Inclusion and SEND

At our academy, every child is valued, included, and supported. We know that some children may need a little extra help at different points in their school journey, and we are committed to making sure they get the right support to thrive.

How We Support Children With SEND

We offer support in all four main areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities:

  • Cognition and Learning
Helping children who find aspects of learning more challenging, with strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Communication and Interaction
Supporting pupils who may have difficulties with speech, language, or social communication.
  • Sensory and Physical Needs
Ensuring children with sensory needs or physical disabilities can fully access school life.
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
Providing support for children who may struggle with emotions, relationships, or mental wellbeing.

Who to Talk To

Our school SENDCO is our Deputy Headteacher, Alana Lloyd.

Mrs Lloyd works closely with families, teachers, and specialists to make sure every child with SEND receives the right support. She is always happy to speak with parents and answer any questions you may have.

Our Trust also has a SEN and Inclusion Lead who helps ensure all Future Academies schools provide high-quality support for every child.
